Kalamazoo, MI and surrounding area (local day travel via company service van). Fort Wayne, IN and Elkhart, IN hiring too. Mechanically inclined? Or familiar with Forklift or other hydraulic equipment? A well-established material handling equipment dealer is adding a Forklift Service Technician to cover the Kalamazoo area. If you're mechanically sharp, a strong troubleshooter, and you take pride in doing the job right, we'll train you on the equipment. This is hands-on field service work: you'll drive a company van to customer sites, diagnose and repair lift trucks and material handling equipment, and be the face of our service to the customer. We keep our techs busy, well-equipped, and moving forward. What you'll do Diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations Perform preventative maintenance to keep customer fleets running Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and see repairs through to completion Communicate clearly with customers on-site about the work and what it needs Keep accurate service records and manage your daily route out of a company van What we're looking for Strong mechanical aptitude — automotive, diesel, ag, powersports, or general equipment repair backgrounds all translate Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills — you like figuring out why something's broken A self-starter who can own a route and manage the day without being micromanaged Professional and presentable — you're comfortable representing us in front of customers in person, by phone, and email Valid driver's license and clean driving record Forklift or lift truck experience is a plus, but not required — we will train Pay & benefits $32-$42/hour , based on experience Overtime, second-segment incentives, lead-share commissions, and referral & productivity bonuses 78% company-paid health insurance for the team member 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) Short-term disability, life insurance, and supplemental insurance options Company-branded uniforms Late-model RAM ProMaster service van provided A family-like team that respects work/life balance — you work to live, not live to work Ready to move up into a trade with a future?
