Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Certified Mechanic to take ownership of maintaining and repairing our company fleet. Working under the direction of the Warehouse and Fleet Operations Manager, this role is responsible for keeping trucks, equipment, and vehicles safe, reliable, and job-ready. This position requires someone who can work independently, manage their own workload, and take pride in the quality of their work with minimal supervision. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on trucks, equipment, and vehicles. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, steering, and other major components. Complete routine maintenance including oil changes, tire work, alignments, inspections, and preventative maintenance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software to complete repairs. Read wiring diagrams and repair manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Inspect vehicles and equipment to make sure they are safe and operating properly. Keep accurate repair records and report maintenance needs to supervisors. What We're Looking For Experience as a mechanic working on trucks, heavy equipment, or commercial vehicles. Strong knowledge of engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, drivetrains, and hydraulic systems. Ability to diagnose problems and make repairs efficiently. Experience using diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and shop equipment. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently. Why Join AAI Lansing? Pay:

$25.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
