Michigan Forklifts | Livonia, Michigan 50,000 - 90,000 Per Year | $1,000 Signing Bonus | Company Service Van Michigan Forklifts is looking for an experienced, dependable Road Forklift Service Mechanic to join our service team. We are a family-owned and operated company that has proudly served Southeast Michigan since 1972. Our service technicians work directly at customer locations, keeping forklifts and material-handling equipment operating safely and efficiently. THE POSITION
As a Road Forklift Service Mechanic, you will travel to customer locations throughout Southeast Michigan to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair forklifts and material-handling equipment Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and related equipment issues Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before they result in downtime Perform repairs on a variety of forklift makes and models Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment condition and repairs Maintain accurate service records and documentation Keep your service van, tools, and equipment organized and properly maintained Follow all company and customer safety procedures Provide professional, dependable service at customer locations Michigan Forklifts services all makes and models and provides everything from routine maintenance to repairs and emergency service.

REQUIREMENTS
Previous mechanical experience required Forklift/material-handling equipment experience preferred Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently Must have your own professional mechanic tools Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to travel to customer locations throughout Southeast Michigan Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
