Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of overhead crane systems in industrial environments. This role ensures that cranes operate safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections on overhead cranes and hoists. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Assist as needed with new crane installations and upgrade existing equipment. Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA standards. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs. Provide emergency repair services when needed. Authority to stop production in the event due to poor quality, unsafe parts or conditions appear. Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Experience:
Minimum two (2) years in crane maintenance or industrial equipment servicing.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulics.
Certifications:
OSHA safety training, electrical/mechanical certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and operate tools safely.
Travel:
Valid driver license and willingness to travel to client sites for service calls.
