Service Technician Kessler Equipment Company - Saginaw, Michigan Full-Time | Field Service Position Kessler Equipment Company is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our growing team. Since 1968, Kessler Equipment has provided vehicle lifting equipment, service, inspections, and installations to customers throughout Michigan. Our technicians work on a wide variety of automotive and heavy-duty vehicle lifting equipment, including two-post lifts, four-post lifts, mobile column lifts, and inground heavy-duty lifts. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automotive and heavy-duty vehicle lifts Perform preventative maintenance and annual lift inspections Install new vehicle lifting equipment Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Complete service documentation and communicate repair recommendations Maintain an organized service vehicle and parts inventory Communicate professionally with customers while on-site Travel throughout Michigan to customer locations Work safely and follow manufacturer procedures and company standards What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and takes pride in their work. Experience with vehicle lifts is a plus, but not required for the right candidate. Experience in automotive repair, heavy equipment, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, industrial maintenance, welding/fabrication, or similar mechanical trades is beneficial.

Candidates should have:

Strong mechanical aptitude Basic electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer-service skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Willingness to travel throughout Michigan as needed Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working around heavy equipment Why Join Kessler Equipment?
