Job Description
Job Title:
Skilled Mechanic, Full Time (40 hours per week)
Location:
Tawas Salary:
$30.25 per hour
Benefits:
Paid health, dental, vision, life insurance, and pension plan for full-time employees. Paid annual leave and holidays. Benefits are effective upon hire.
- Repairing or replacing parts on equipment and vehicles
- Making mechanical and electrical adjustments on a wide range of motors and mechanical equipment
- Welding, wiring, transmission overhauls, hydraulics
- Installation of special equipment
- General maintenance/repair of all equipment used by road commission personnel
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Current Michigan Auto Brake and Truck Brake certification.
- Ability to weld and use oxygen/acetylene cutting torches.
