In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Your expertise will help keep our fleet and machinery operating smoothly, supporting various industrial, agricultural, and construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering top-tier service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery using OEM schematics and electrical testing tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brake systems, suspension components, and HVAC systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using hand tools, welding equipment, and power tools to meet specific operational needs. Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform soldering or wiring repairs to resolve complex mechanical or electronic issues. Execute routine vehicle maintenance such as tire service, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and heavy equipment operation to maximize uptime. Interpret technical schematics and OEM manuals for precise repairs on farm machinery, industrial equipment, or tractor-trailers. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with the work performed. Qualifications Certified Master Heavy Duty Mechanic with extensive dealership experience in heavy equipment repair. Proven mechanical knowledge across a broad spectrum of machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and trailers. Strong electrical experience with automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting skills. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding, soldering, and assembly of mechanical components. Proficient in reading schematics and OEM manuals for accurate diagnostics and repairs. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while performing maintenance tasks requiring heavy lifting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
