Job Description
The role of Mechanic / Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the bus fleet to ensure safe and reliable operation. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and completing repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. The Mechanic / Technician works closely with the Shop Foreman and operations team to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of repairs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on buses Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Maintain accurate maintenance records Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations Order and install replacement parts as needed Collaborate with other mechanics and shop staff on complex repairs Follow company and manufacturer safety protocols
