Help keep freight moving safely Our Saint Paul, MN shop is looking for a Commercial Semi‑Trailer Service Mechanic who takes pride in quality work and safe equipment. If you love solving mechanical puzzles and improving reliability, you'll feel at home here. Your impact Keep trailers roadworthy through expert maintenance and precise repairs. Protect drivers and loads by identifying issues early and addressing them thoroughly. Uphold compliance through meticulous inspections and accurate recordkeeping. Strengthen the team by sharing knowledge and refining shop processes. Core work you'll do Service and repair trailer brake, suspension, and electrical systems. Diagnose faults using observation, testing, and schematics to guide corrective action. Perform safety and compliance inspections; recommend part replacements or repairs. Record all work performed and parts used in a clear, organized manner. Collaborate with peers to elevate service standards and efficiency. Stay informed on new techniques and best practices for semi trailer maintenance. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; automotive/diesel technical coursework is beneficial. Hands-on experience working on semi trailers or similar heavy equipment. Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Detail-driven problem solver with strong follow-through. Team-focused communicator. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
