Job Description

Role Overview :
We are seeking a Field Technician to join our team, where you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of water pump systems, as well as manage equipment loading and unloading. This entry-level role offers significant potential for professional development and requires approximately 40% travel. Your Compensation and Benefits Participation in an employee-owned organization Retirement savings via a 401(k) plan with company match Incentives through a profit-sharing program Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage Ample paid time off and holiday leave Core Duties Gather necessary hoses, pipes, pumps, and fittings to support ongoing repair and maintenance tasks Operate motorized machinery to ensure equipment is loaded and unloaded without incident Help secure all cargo for transport Maintain a clean and orderly yard to ensure equipment remains accessible and the workspace stays hazard-free Adhere to all safety protocols to help maintain a secure working environment for the entire team Travel to various local customer sites to support the setup and breakdown of systems Support the team by connecting piping, positioning pumps, and breaking down accessories once jobs conclude Assist technicians in identifying and resolving mechanical problems with heavy diesel equipment Required Qualifications Completion of high school or a GED equivalent A natural aptitude for mechanical work Previous background in a hands-on, outdoor field environment Experience with heavy machinery or equipment operation is a plus Knowledge of diesel engines is preferred but not mandatory A current driver's license and a clean driving history Capacity to follow instructions and perform tasks independently in a high-speed setting Flexibility to work varied hours and travel locally up to 40% of the time Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to safely operate hydraulic lifting equipment powered by diesel Physical capability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 75 pounds Key Proficiencies Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills Diesel & Heavy Equipment Systems Equipment and Technology Diesel Engine
