Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of forklifts and heavy equipment. Your expertise will ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready for operation, supporting our commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on forklifts, construction machinery, and industrial equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Repair or replace faulty components such as transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and air systems Conduct welding, fabrication, and assembly work to restore equipment functionality Test repaired equipment to ensure safety standards and operational efficiency are met Maintain accurate service records and detailed documentation of repairs performed Assist with heavy lifting tasks and tire services as needed to support ongoing maintenance activities Experience Proven mechanic experience with forklifts, construction machinery, or industrial equipment Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with OEM parts and systems Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, and HVAC systems Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs Experience with heavy equipment operation and construction equipment servicing is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Join our team to keep our customers running smoothly!
