Locally owned & operated excavating company seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work & can troubleshoot problems independently. The right person for this position is someone we can trust to show up, figure it out, and get the job done.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience working on heavy equipment and diesel machinery Strong work ethic, honest & dependable Strong diagnostic & troubleshooting skills Able to prioritize jobs & manage time effectively Professional attitude and good communication skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record CDL is highly desirable but not required Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, & maintain heavy equipment in the field Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, diesel & mechanical systems Respond to equipment breakdowns & minimize downtime Maintain accurate service & repair records
