Position Overview:
We are seeking a heavy-duty Front-End Mechanic / Alignment Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing accurate vehicle alignments and diagnosing and repairing suspension and steering systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform two- and four-wheel alignments using modern alignment equipment Diagnose and repair front-end components including ball joints, tie rods, control arms, bushings, and struts Inspect suspension and steering systems and provide repair recommendations Ensure alignments meet manufacturer specifications and customer expectations Test drive vehicles to verify complaints and confirm repairs Maintain clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures Communicate effectively with service writers and other technicians Occasionally assist with tire installs and basic automotive services
Qualifications:
2+ years of front-end and/or alignment experience preferred Knowledge of steering, suspension, and alignment systems Experience using alignment equipment (Hunter) is a plus Valid driver?s license Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset ASE certification is a plus but not required
