www.binderholz.com/en-us Position Overview Binderholz Enfield is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who is skilled in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of heavy equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the continued reliability and performance of our machinery, which is essential for the operation of our plant. Work Schedule 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM Pittman Schedule (3-2-2-3) - Rotating weekends Responsibilities Lead and perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment, including forklifts, log handling equipment, and other motorized mill machinery. Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to identify mechanical faults. Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components with precision. Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments, to ensure optimal equipment performance. Collaborate with other mechanics for complex repairs and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Report and document damaged or faulty equipment to management promptly. Always follow all safety protocols and work procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred. 5+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Strong hands-on experience with heavy machinery and diesel engines. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and in a high-noise environment. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform essential physical tasks, including walking, bending, and climbing stairs. Strong computer literacy for managing machine control systems and software updates. Must have a valid driver's license and be dependable.
