Job Description

Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on tractors, mowers, construction equipment, and other outdoor power equipment Complete oil changes, filter replacements, greasing, fluid checks, belt inspections, and other scheduled maintenance Inspect equipment for basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Perform basic repairs and adjustments as needed Check equipment for proper operation before returning it to customers Keep service areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized Accurately document maintenance performed, parts used, and any issues found on work orders Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding maintenance needs and equipment status Complete required online manufacturer training Qualifications Previous experience in equipment maintenance, automotive service, farm equipment, construction equipment, or a related field preferred Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn Must provide basic hand tools; specialty tools provided by employer Ability to follow maintenance procedures, checklists, and safety guidelines Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean background Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a physically demanding environment Preferred Skills 1-2 years of experience in automotive, agricultural, construction, or equipment maintenance preferred Experience performing oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and preventative maintenance Basic familiarity with diesel engines and heavy equipment Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn Experience with basic service software or electronic work orders is a plus About Us New South Tractor is a rapidly growing dealership specializing in agricultural, turf, and light construction equipment. Compensation & Benefits Competitive starting pay (based on experience) Monthly productivity bonus available after 90 days Health and vision insurance, supplemental insurance available at group rates 401(k) with 4% company matching One week of paid vacation after one year. Paid time off increases with tenure, up to two weeks annually.
Work Schedule Monday-Friday:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mid-March through
Mid-September:
Rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00
PM Pay:
From $41,600.00 per year
