Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled R.O. Snow Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and repair various types of snow removal equipment to ensure their optimal performance during winter operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience working with a variety of snow equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical issues with snow removal equipment and perform necessary repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on snow plows, snow blowers, and other related equipment. Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged parts and replace them as needed. Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably working with snow removal equipment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Certification from a technical school or equivalent work experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts.
