Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plow and Sander Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing snow plow and sander equipment on various vehicles, ensuring optimal performance during winter seasons. Your expertise will help keep roads safe and accessible, providing essential services to our community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tools and machinery while contributing to public safety and infrastructure maintenance. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and calibrate plow blades and sanding equipment on different types of vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques. Conduct routine inspections of plow and sander systems to identify wear, damage, or malfunction, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Perform maintenance tasks including lubrication, adjustments, repairs, and replacements of mechanical components in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure accurate assembly and setup of equipment. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference for customer billing. Qualifications
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and assembly processes. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; commercial driving certification is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to installation tasks. Pay:
$26.38 - $31.77 per hour
