Key Responsibilities Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble heavy equipment Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on construction equipment Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and verifying deliveries Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Conduct routine equipment inspections and light maintenance tasks Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move parts and components safely Inspect components to determine reusability or replacement needs; order parts as required Utilize diagnostic and testing equipment to troubleshoot and adjust machinery Complete warranty reports and provide recommendations Perform minor welding, fabrication, and alignment work Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) Support other shop functions as needed based on workload Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1-2 years of related experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Basic math and computer/data entry skills General mechanical knowledge required Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes Dependable, reliable, and safety-focused Physical Demands & Work Environment Frequent walking, standing, and working on uneven terrain Regular lifting of 50+ pounds Use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipment Climbing in and out of heavy equipment Ability to work in various positions, including kneeling and lying under equipment Exposure to varying weather conditions Communication via radio, phone, and in-person Ability to hear and identify mechanical issues in a shop environment Benefits Paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays 100% employer-paid medical premiums for employees and families Dental and vision coverage 401(k)/Roth with company match Quarterly and annual bonus programs Company stock program (after 5+ years of service) Additional Information This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
