Field Service ManagerSummary of the position:

Diagnose, repair, or rebuild compressors, engines, accessory drives, oil and water pumps and other related equipment. The candidate will need to be a mechanically inclined, motivated, and dependable individual.

Duties and responsibilities:

Diagnose, test, and perform repairs including complete overhauls on equipment to get it ready for service in the field.

Order parts for repairs and machine some parts to correct specifications. Consult with field staff and assist in diagnosing needed repairsMaintain work area and equipment in clean, safe conditionJob responsibilities may be altered by the Field Service Manager as customer and/or company requirements change.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferredAssociate degree a plusTechnical Trade School a plusProfessional experience: Compressor preventative maintenance experience preferredExperience with rotary screw Oil Free Compressors a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to engage and communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationStrong grasp of Microsoft office requiredAbility to read and understand schematicsAbility to work independently or on a teamKey behaviors:
