About Us:
We provide full-scale electrical design-build, installation, maintenance, repair, and retrofit services for commercial and industrial clients in a wide range of markets.
Job Summary:
The Position:
Wasatch Electric is accepting applications for an Equipment Mechanic to assist with the repair and maintenance of heavy construction equipment and vehicles at our Carson City shop location. Must be able to travel and be familiar with all types of construction equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting with the repair and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered heavy equipment and vehicles.

Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism and commitment to company values Must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently and be dependable Must have excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills Mist have high standards of quality with attention to detail
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Demonstrates mechanic skills/experience-specific to heavy equipment Basic hydraulics, electrical and welding skills Dependable work schedule shift Good driving record, ability to pass DOT medical exam CDL License preferred Knowledge of electric over hydraulic systems Welding capabilities #watelec
