Job Summary MAK Equipment is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Field Service Technician to join our team in Las Vegas. This position includes both shop work and field service , working on construction rental equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts (Skyjack, JLG, etc.) . If you are someone who can troubleshoot, work independently, and handle job site service calls, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Perform maintenance and repairs on aerial lifts and forklifts Complete field service calls at customer job sites Prepare equipment for rent-ready condition Accurately document work orders (InTempo or similar systems) Communicate issues and repair recommendations to team and customers Experience Proven experience as a Service Mechanic or in a similar maintenance role involving mechanical and electrical systems Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Strong understanding of mechanical components, electrical wiring, and safety standards Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service instructions with precision Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance Prior experience working with diverse machinery in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred What We Offer Steady, year-round work Overtime opportunities Growing company with room for advancement Local work (no long-distance travel) Supportive team environment Join us in delivering exceptional service through your technical expertise!
