Full-time Position Overview:
The role is essentially a Sr. Mechanic for the company's service department, which is also Nevada's #1 Stihl dealer. A Senior Mechanic is a skilled, experienced technician responsible for performing and assisting with complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of equipment and support to the Jr. Mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist junior mechanics with diagnostics and repairs as needed. Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment. Working on a diverse range of machinery, including:
Small Engines:
Lawn mowers, generators, plate compactors, etc.
Medium Equipment:
Wood chippers, asphalt rollers, etc.
Large Equipment:
Telehandlers & Aerial lifts, etc. Operate and maintain shop tools and diagnostic equipment safely. Keep workspaces clean and organized according to safety standards. Track parts usage and record services performed. Strong problem solving skills
Required Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of mechanics or outdoor power equipment.
  • Familiarity with both gasoline and diesel engines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to keep learn.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
Hours:
40-45 hours per week.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 to 9 hour day shifts.
Benefits:
Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance offered after 90 days. Paid time off after 1 year.
