In this role, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing a variety of equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain the reliability of our equipment inventory, support operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse tools and systems, contributing directly to the success of our maintenance and refurbishment processes. Responsibilities Test electronic and industrial equipment to verify proper operation Diagnose basic hardware and mechanical issues Clean and refurbish used equipment Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed Replace defective or worn components Perform basic repairs and adjustments Connect equipment to computers and networks for testing Install drivers, firmware, and software when necessary Run test prints, scans, and other diagnostic procedures Reset equipment and prepare it for resale Inspect equipment for cosmetic and functional condition Identify equipment that requires additional repair or replacement parts Maintain an organized and clean work area Accurately document testing results and equipment condition Work with other team members to keep equipment moving efficiently through the refurbishment process Qualifications No previous professional technician experience is required. We are looking for someone who: Is mechanically or technically inclined Enjoys troubleshooting and problem solving Is comfortable using computers Can follow testing procedures and instructions Pays strong attention to detail Is dependable and punctual Is willing to learn new equipment and repair procedures Can work independently after training Takes pride in producing high-quality work Experience working with electronics, computers, printers, scanners, automotive repair, appliances, mechanical equipment, or similar hands-on work is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements This position involves working with physical equipment throughout the day.
