Job Description

Under general supervision, the Shop Laborer/General Repair Technician performs a wide variety of skilled, entry-level duties in the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of Cyclones used in general industrial and mining applications. R•
OLE AND R
ESPONSIBILITIES
: Inspects, maintains, and repairs Cyclones using a combination of power operated, air-driven, and handheld tools including, but not limited to; die grinder, Sawzall, hand grinder, bench grinder, impact wrench, oxy acetylene cutting torch, etc. Completes the repair worksheet for needed parts. Operates spray painting and sandblasting equipment to apply protective coatings and paints to fabricated structural steel materials. Fabricate and modify parts and equipment as necessary. Operates powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials/deliveries and move them to and from storage areas. Operates traveling or stationary overhead Gantry crane to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and solid or bulk materials, using hoisting attachments, such as hook, sling, electromagnet, or bucket. Manipulates or depresses crane controls, such as pedals, levers, and buttons to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions. Operates company DOT vehicles and provides efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages, pumps, and documents while representing the company in a professional manner. Drives company vehicle to deliver pumps and Cyclones to customer sites. Responsible for the cleanliness of the shop and equipment Miscellaneous shop duties as assigned. Q•
UALIFICATIONS AND E
DUCATION R EQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years or older Must have a valid Nevada state Driver's License and acceptable driving record Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical card Must be able to pass a background check and 9-pannel drug screening Must be MSHA certified (or be willing to obtain certification) High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES
Regularly sit on a powered industrial truck Frequently lift up to 100 pounds Adjust body position to bend, stoop, climb, balance, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time Have a good sense of balance Have good eye-hand-foot coordination Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on season
