RYCOE Enterprises is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our heavy and medium-duty fleet. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspection and maintenance on company vehicles and follow PM schedules to avoid preventable downtime. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Perform repairs and replacements on various vehicle components, including brakes, engines and transmissions. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles and provide updates to management. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in maintenance procedures while maintaining a clean, well-organized shop. Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies to enhance repair services. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the company and ensure efficient operations. Qualifications Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic methods Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools commonly used in vehicle maintenance Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to report on vehicle conditions and maintenance needs Valid NYS Drivers License Ability to lift 50 pounds Why Join Our Team? $25.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience) Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Company-paid Life & Short-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match PTO & Paid Holidays On-site Employee Gym Ongoing training and professional development
