Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on golf course equipment, including diesel engines, small engines, and mechanical systems. Conduct preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and ensure safety standards are met. Troubleshoot electrical issues utilizing schematics and electrical diagnostics tools to resolve complex system failures. Maintain detailed records of repairs, service history, and inventory levels for all machinery and parts. Oversee equipment inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency. Manage equipment procurement, inventory management, and coordinate with vendors for parts and service needs. Lead heavy lifting tasks using appropriate manual handling techniques and power tools to facilitate repairs or replacements. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive or heavy equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair, electrical work, and small engine maintenance. Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems. Experience working with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery brands is highly desirable.
