Job Overview We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with tools, and wants to build a career in heavy equipment maintenance. You'll assist with maintaining and repairing equipment used in concrete crushing operations while learning from experienced mechanics. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, greasing, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance. Help inspect and repair heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, and crushers. Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance tasks. Assist with equipment repairs and part replacements. Keep equipment and work areas clean and safe. Travel to job sites throughout Long Island as needed. Follow all safety procedures. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Experience with basic maintenance, repairs, or hands-on mechanical work. Comfortable using hand tools and shop equipment. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Dependable and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Nice to Have Automotive, diesel, or equipment maintenance experience.
