Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Brunswick Automatic Pinsetter Mechanic to join the Spins Bowl Independence team! This is a strictly part-time position, with a schedule of 1-3 days per week maximum. Job Description:
The Mechanic is responsible for the operation of bowling machines ensuring they are ready at all times for open and league bowlers, making timely repairs and preventative maintenance, and for managing the training of part-time mechanic staff. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of bowling machines. An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. Must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety regulations.
Duties:
Build and assemble mechanical components according to requirements Inspect machines and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance for maximum reliability Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner Perform thorough maintenance on machinery & equipment Clean and apply lubricants to components Replenish fluids and components of machinery Maintain, clean, and oil lanes Perform "Pin-Chaser" duties such as ball returns, pin spots, clearing of jams, etc. Provide recommendations on upkeep and replacement of parts Undertake other duties as assigned (maintenance of building) Keep logs of work and report on issues Physical requirements and mechanical experience: Proven experience as a mechanic Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers) Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc. A strong commitment to health and safety regulations Very good communication skills Problem-solving ability Good physical strength and stamina Positive attitude
Experience:
2+ years mechanic experience (required) Knowledge of Brunswick Pinsetter machines (preferred )
