Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, including diesel engines and industrial equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to Asphalt Pavers are the number one thing we work on, excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct diesel engine repairs, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. Maintain industrial equipment by performing regular inspections and servicing as required. Align and calibrate machinery to ensure proper operation. Operate heavy equipment as needed for testing purposes or to assist in repairs. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs and repair status. Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed and parts used. Qualifications Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on heavy equipment repair. Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques and practices. Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance procedures. Experience operating heavy machinery is preferred. Ability to align machinery components accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
