Job Description:
Position is a bargaining unit-represented position and is available to International Bargaining Unit members only for the first seven (7) days.
NOTE:
Substance Abuse Program Plan position and subject to random drug/alcohol testing. Position Overview Under close supervision utilizes tools to perform a wide variety of non-craft, routine tasks for the DUF6 project. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Functional:
Lubricates equipment (i.e., pumps, blowers, motors, roll compactors, etc.) Performs janitorial duties (i.e., replaces light bulbs, disposes of trash and rubbish) Performs carpentry duties (i.e., general construction or shop work) Performs painting duties Completes road and ground work Takes general care of vehicles (i.e., lubricates all gasoline and diesel vehicles and mobile equipment in shop or field) Performs manual and mechanical work Performs manual and clerical work as needed in receiving, storage, surplus and salvage, distribution, and shopping of materials Collects and interprets data Operates vehicles, machinery, and equipment (i.e., operates all types of light motor vehicles, such as automobiles, carryalls, trucks under 4 tons, farm tractor and forklift; operates other types of light mobile equipment occasionally as required)
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 4+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required, which shall include: 2+ years of carpentry experience 1+ years of painting experience 1+ years of laborer experience Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) credential
