Equipment Service Technician [ID:16AD]

An equipment sales and rental business is hiring a full-time Equipment Service Technician in Toledo, OH to diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and diesel equipment. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude and service experience. to join a skilled service team. Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain 2-cycle, 4-cycle, and diesel-powered equipment, with training available for further specialization. Service equipment across brands, including Honda, Wacker Neuson, Cummins, Doosan, Gorman Rupp, and Stihl. Clock in and out of each job, document repair work and service notes, and maintain accurate records for job tracking. Communicate job details, findings, and updates with the Service Manager throughout the repair process. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace while supporting safe, consistent shop standards. Work closely with team members to meet departmental goals and complete service work efficiently.

Requirements Required:

1+ years of experience servicing outdoor power equipment and diesel engines, including construction equipment applications. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair small engines and diesel-powered equipment. Basic knowledge of AC/DC wiring. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma or GED. Must provide basic personal tools. #SJ1
