Job Summary:
Pharaoh Energy is seeking an experienced Field Frac Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic fracturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Caterpillar 3512C engines, high-pressure pumping equipment, hydraulic systems, and oilfield support equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on frac pumps, blenders, hydration units, and support equipment. Diagnose and repair Caterpillar 3512C engines , including fuel, cooling, lubrication, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot engine performance issues using CAT ET and other diagnostic software. Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and high-pressure fluid systems. Inspect equipment and identify potential failures before they impact operations. Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately. Perform field repairs during frac operations as needed. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations. Work closely with operations personnel to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of oilfield or heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred. Experience working on CAT 3512C, 3512B, or 3516 engines is strongly preferred. Knowledge of hydraulic fracturing equipment and high-pressure pumping systems. Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic reports. Experience with CAT Electronic Technician (ET) software preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills . Valid driver's license required; clean MVR.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Climb ladders and work at heights. Stand, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Ability to work in the field in all weather: Primarily in New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma.
