This Heavy Equipment Mechanic opportunity focuses on keeping older, durable cranes, swing-cab equipment, and forklifts running safely through proactive preventative maintenance and repairs. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heavy Equipment Mechanic position include: 2-3+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and reliably Service outdoor cranes, including swing-cab and Link-Belt equipment Grease and lubricate equipment according to maintenance requirements Change filters and perform routine fluid services; check fluid levels and identify concerns Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and mechanical issues; troubleshoot and complete necessary repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment and help minimize downtime through proactive maintenance

Salary:

$25 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
