If you are mechanically inclined and seeking long-term career opportunities, our mechanical tech assistant position may be for you. This position cleans and preps used components, using industrial equipment and assembles and disassembles small components.
Responsibilities:
  • Teardown and assembly of small components used in the powertrain industry.
  • Cleaning and prepping used components using equipment such as industrial washers, dip-tanks and hoists.
  • Identifying and inspecting component parts for wear and compatibility. Ideal candidates have the following skills and experience:
  • Basic mechanical skills and excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly and repair, troubleshooting knowledge and excellent assembly techniques a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety practices.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Must be reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated and have excellent attendance
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

    Hours:
    Full-time weekdays, 7am to 4pm, occasional overtime.
      Pay Rate:
      $21/hr
        Position Type:
        90-day temp to hire
