Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

Machine Preparation, Testing, Quality Control Service Arcobaleno Pasta Machines is a leading provider of commercial pasta-making and foodservice equipment. For more than 30 years, we have helped restaurants, pasta shops, foodservice operations, and manufacturers succeed with professional pasta equipment, training, parts, and technical support. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Machine Preparation, Quality Control & Service Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, troubleshooting problems, and taking pride in making sure equipment is properly prepared and operating as it should. Position Summary This hands-on position is responsible for preparing, configuring, testing, and inspecting machines before they are shipped to customers. The technician will install optional features and components, make mechanical and electrical adjustments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure every machine is operating properly and meets Arcobaleno's quality standards. The position will also assist with equipment repairs and service as needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare and configure machines according to customer work orders Operate and test equipment to ensure proper mechanical and electrical function Install optional features, accessories, and components Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Perform machine adjustments, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance Verify motors, wiring, switches, controls, sensors, and mechanical components Complete final quality-control inspections before shipment Confirm all parts and accessories match the customer's order Document testing and work performed Work closely with Service, Production, Engineering, and Shipping Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical experience required Working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, switches, and controls Experience working with machinery, equipment repair, automotive, industrial maintenance, or a similar mechanical field Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment Ability to read work orders, diagrams, and technical instructions Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to quality Foodservice equipment or electromechanical experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, work around machinery, and lift up to 70 lbs.
