Job Description
West Central Equipment, the John Deere agriculture and turf equipment dealership in Martinsburg PA is seeking an agriculture equipment Service Technician. We offer a quarterly performance bonus program and tool allowance in addition to competitive wages and generous employee benefits .

Independently perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment. Candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic while completing tasks efficiently and with minimal supervision. Customer service and communication skills are required. The Ag Equipment Service Technician may be asked to clearly explain to a customer, in a courteous and effective manner, aspects of work being performed.Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere and other brands of ag equipment and technology, sometimes in the field Perform setup and pre-delivery preparation of new equipment Maintain current knowledge of John Deere products and competitive products Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion Complete reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignmentsQualifications:
2 years experience performing service repairs on large agricultural or relatable heavy equipment Work history of consistently meeting performance metrics Ability to follow Technical Manual procedures Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in agricultural, off road, construction or other heavy equipment High School diploma or equivalent experience required . . . Associate Degree preferred Must have an adequate toolset/toolbox to perform job responsibilitiesJob Type:
