Junior Coal Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, extensive knowledge of heavy equipment diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems, and able to work outdoors at job sites when necessary. Pay is based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in all equipment including but not limited to: caterpillar heavy equipment such as cat 992 ,980 wheel loaders . Cat D10 bulldozers and Euclid Hitachi haul trucks. Perform routine maintenance tasks Conduct thorough equipment inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Demonstrated expertise as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor settings, exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain, along with potential elements like dust, dirt, and noise. Work overtime as business needs arise.
