Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mobile Mechanic, where you'll be at the forefront of inspecting, maintaining and repairing a wide range of diesel and gas-powered machinery used in the construction and mining industries. This energetic role offers the opportunity to diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, replace defective parts, and perform routine maintenance to keep heave equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, and front-end loaders while operating safely and efficiently. Your expertise will keep our fleet and industrial machinery in top condition, supporting our commitment to reliable service and operational excellence. Duties Diagnosis & Troubleshooting:
Use computerized diagnostic equipment, calibration devices, and technical schematics to identify malfunctions in engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
Repair & Replacement:
Dismantle equipment, replace worn or broken parts (such as bearings, pistons, and gears), and reassemble machinery using hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
Routine Maintenance:
Clean, lubricate, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Field & Shop Operations:
Work in an indoor repair shop or travel in a specialized service truck to remote worksites to perform emergency repairs.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate logs of equipment conditions, document services, and order necessary parts from vendors.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
