We are looking for a skilled and dependable Shop Mechanic to join our service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of small engines, power tools, and equipment. Key Responsibilities Small Engine Repair:

Diagnose, service, and overhaul 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines on outdoor power equipment (lawnmowers, chainsaws, generators, compactors).

Tool Maintenance & Repair:

Troubleshoot and fix pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic hand tools and light construction equipment.

Preventative Maintenance:

Perform routine tune-ups, oil changes, blade sharpening, filter replacements, and system flushes to maximize equipment lifespan.

Diagnostics:

Inspect incoming equipment, identify mechanical or electrical issues, and estimate repair costs/parts needed.

Shop Upkeep:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, while keeping accurate records of parts used and work completed.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

2+ years of hands-on experience in small engine repair, power tool repair, or a related mechanical field.

Technical Skills:

Solid understanding of mechanical systems, carburetors, ignition systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

Tools:

Possession of a personal basic mechanic tool set (specialty tools provided).

Attributes:

Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods.
