While based out of Savannah, TICO has locations throughout the coast and interior United States. TICO owns and operates over 1500 Jockey Trucks/Terminal Tractors and 800 plus specialty trailers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventative maintenance Inspections in accordance with TICO policy. Ability to complete minor repairs to hydraulic system components, drive train, cab chassis etc. (i.e. replace belts, hoses, u joints, air lines etc.). Completes required documentation using the fleet maintenance software program, ensuring accurate information is captured on vehicle repairs, parts usage, and repair times. Perform routine oil changes and parts lubrication per specified schedule. Perform minor replacements, repairs, and adjustments as needed. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Company standards. Operate unit to verify conformance to specifications. Detect unusual noises while operating equipment. Submit required job completion paperwork to Shop Manager. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of one year's experience in automotive/truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of accredited vocational technical school program. Valid drivers' license Must have own tools. Drug test required.
