Job Description
Marine Repair Services-Container Maintenance Corporation has over 50 years of Customer Service, Safety, and Family core values in the intermodal industry. Our technicians and mechanics are well trained in the industry and go through continuous education on the latest repair and safety standards. We perform timely maintenance and repair services according to the highest industry standards. Due to growth in our industry we are in need of Mobile Chassis Mechanics for our Reliable Fleet Services company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: FMCSA inspection and repairs according to DOT regulations. Wheel end repairs, (wheel seals, tires, cam shafts, etc.) Tires (10.00-20, 11X22.5, 11R22.5) Electrical (marker lights, wiring & troubleshooting, etc.) Locking devices (Pins, twist-locks, latches, keepers, slider assemblies) Landing legs & braces Suspensions (adjustable/nonadjustable radius rods, spring hangers/equalizers, misc brackets) Air system (air valves, air chambers, air lines/hoses, troubleshooting ABS systems) Structural (welding, cutting, inserting, etc.) Overseas Cargo Containers Flooring (sections, plating and replacement) Cross members/Floor supports (Replacements/insert, straighten) Panels "Side, nose & Roof" (replacement, patch, straighten & weld, straighten (side, roof, nose) Corner post (Replacement, Insert, straighten) Corner Casting (Replace) Doors (straighten/replace or repair hardware & structural) Headers, Top & Bottom rails (Straighten, insert, replace) Job Qualifications We are seeking an experienced chassis mechanic with 2 or more years of applicable and relevant experience (Required) Must be able to pass chassis FMCSA certification test Must have a good driving record
