Join the Southeast's Leading Toyota Material Handling Dealer! Southeast Industrial Equipment, Inc. is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations while providing exceptional service and technical expertise. Competitive pay based on experience Company service vehicle and fuel card Company provided uniforms and boot reimbursement Consistent overtime opportunities Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Paid vacation and holidays Paid training and ongoing professional development Stable, growing company with long-term career advancement opportunities What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at customer facilities Perform electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, engine, and drive system diagnostics Complete preventative maintenance and OSHA safety inspections Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics Utilize laptop diagnostics and manufacturer software Communicate repair recommendations and equipment concerns with customers Complete service reports, labor entries, and parts documentation accurately Maintain company service vehicle, inventory, and tools Follow OSHA and company safety procedures Provide emergency or after-hours service support as needed Mentor and assist less experienced technicians when appropriate Qualified candidates should have: 3+ years of mechanical repair experience preferred Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, engine, and drive systems Ability to diagnose equipment independently in the field Strong customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in indoor and outdoor environments Technical school education or manufacturer certifications are a plus Experience with Toyota forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred but not required Experience with forklifts is preferred, but we also encourage candidates with experience repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, diesel engines, industrial machinery, aerial lifts, fleet vehicles, commercial trucks, generators, or automotive equipment to apply.
