Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Hydraulic Service Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of hydraulic systems (and subsystems) on a variety of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and mobile equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of the equipment used in a range of environments and applications. Responsibilities  Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems using schematics, OEM manuals, and diagnostic tools.  Repair and replace hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings to restore equipment functionality.  Recommend and implement custom modifications to hydraulic systems to meet specific operational needs.  Preform corrective and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment; including excavators, cranes, tractors, forklifts, presses, and other industrial manufacturing and municipality machinery.  Operate heavy equipment such as mobile cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts to assist with installation or repair tasks.  Read and interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals to accurately diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions.  Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, hydraulic presses, and other tools for disassembly, repair, and re-assembly tasks. Qualifications  Minimum of Five years experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mobile equipment, or electro-mechanical equipment (mechatronics).  Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm equipment, and manufacturing equipment.  Ability to read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshooting hydraulic systems.  Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other tools.  Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.  Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform repairs in various environments(i.e. heights, high heat, dirty, etc.) with occasional overnight travel requirements. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
