Job description: Job Overview Appalachian Equipment Solutions is a growing SANY dealership. Appalachian Equipment Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Road/Shop Mechanic to join our fast-growing team. As a Heavy Equipment Road/Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing customers' machines, handling road calls, performing in-shop repairs, assisting with parts set-up, and cleaning equipment. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation and customer satisfaction of our services. Duties Diagnose and repair customer machines, ensuring timely and efficient service. Handle road calls to provide on-site repair services. Perform in-shop repairs to maintain and refurbish equipment. Assist in setting up and organizing parts for repairs and maintenance. Clean and maintain equipment to ensure it meets company standards and customer expectations. Requirements Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Road/Shop Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the equipment repair industry. Certification in a related field or specialized training. Familiarity with various types of machinery and equipment.
