Harris Trading Company is a family-owned large equipment sales and rental distributor located in the southeast. Our brick-and-mortar storefront is locally owned and operated in Lebanon, TN. We specialize in stocking multiple nationally known brands of construction, agricultural and farming equipment including attachments and accessories. Assess equipment to find current and potential issues and identify the necessary course(s) of action to resolve the equipment issues. Routine Maintenance on equipment to improve longevity of all equipment and minimize repair costs throughout the life of the equipment.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing various types of equipment including lawn mowers and tractors. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Conduct diagnostic tests on lawn mowers, tractors, and other equipment
• Repair and replace faulty parts following OEM guidelines
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and perform soldering tasks as needed
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to efficiently address mechanical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all repair and maintenance procedures

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic with expertise in lawn mowers, tractors, and equipment
• Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance, including hydraulics systems
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with various tools and equipment to perform repairs accurately
