Fleet & Equipment Mechanic — Day Shift & Night Shift Rockwood Sustainable Solutions About the role Rockwood Sustainable Solutions is hiring Fleet & Equipment Mechanics to keep our trucks and yard equipment running safely and reliably. We're filling both a day shift and a night shift position — let us know which you're applying for (or if you're open to either) in your application. Shifts available

Day Shift:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00

PM Night Shift:

Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM What you'll do Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks and yard equipment Perform preventive maintenance on a set schedule to keep equipment available and on the road Maintain accurate repair and parts-usage records Follow all shop safety procedures and keep the work area organized Communicate equipment status and downtime to your shift lead/supervisor What we're looking for Mechanical/diesel technician training or equivalent hands-on experience Comfortable diagnosing and repairing both truck and heavy equipment issues Own basic hand tools preferred Reliable, safety-first mindset and strong communication with your team Willingness to work the shift you're applying for (day or night) Physical requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in varying shop and outdoor conditions Frequent bending, kneeling, and standing throughout the shift Preference given to
