Lifting Gear Hire Corp (LGH) seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician to inspect, service, and repair hoisting, rigging, jacking, and lifting rental equipment in our Appleton, WI location. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues, and ensure all gear meets LGH and OSHA safety standards before going to customers. Working in a safety-first, team-oriented environment, you'll document work, support warehouse operations, and help deliver reliable, high-quality solutions for industrial, construction, and infrastructure projects across North America. Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair hoisting, rigging, and lifting equipment to manufacturer and company standards. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. Document work performed, inspections, and test results in maintenance or rental systems. Follow all LGH and OSHA safety procedures, ensuring equipment is safe and compliant before rental. Support warehouse and field operations by preparing, testing, and staging equipment for customer orders. Communicate equipment status and repair needs with supervisors and team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and tools.
