Mechanic Helper This position ensures that the image of our Company is reflected in the appearance and condition of our equipment and facilities. You are to maintain the company's high standards of safety and extend the life of our assets.

Requirements:
Essential Functions Perform routine, preventative maintenance such as changing oil, check batteries and lubricate equipment and machinery. Assist mechanics with repairs Follow procedures to fuel and park CDL required vehicles. Driver, fuel, and park on company property only. Repair and/or install tires. Report discrepancies and safety hazards on all vehicles and properties on the appropriate forms. The ability to work a flexible schedule - Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work independently over long periods of time within the scope of established rules and regulations. Ability to drive on company property only a vehicle that is 27 feet to 33 feet in length in a safe, competent manner. Ability to determine the type of tool and equipment needed to do a job. Ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Ability to use equipment or materials as specified in this job description. Ability to understand manufactures specifications, service, and repair manual. Qualifications High school graduate or equivaled preferred Mechanical background helpful Other Requirements Must pass pre-employment backkground check and substance abuse testing. Valid TN Driver's License with acceptable driving record for the past three years preferred Must supply own hand tools and toolboxes.
