The Field Service Technician is responsible for high quality and effective repair of equipment at the customer site or job location. Hourly wage + monthly gain/loss commission +profit-sharing + 401k with 6% match Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ability to inspects and diagnoses problems with equipment by understanding the customer complaint. Uses computerized tools to fix and fix problems with equipment. Performs major and minor repair and replacement of defective parts up to and including engines and transmissions. Performs routine maintenance tasks. Works on a variety of systems including fuel, electrical, hydraulic and drive components Tests equipment to ensure proper and safe operation Travels to customer location to perform work. Maintains complete and detailed working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases for repairs

Desired Skills and Experience:

High School diploma, GED or vocational training/certification Minimum 3-4 years experience in construction equipment repair Knowledgeable and experience with hydraulic systems, electrical, electronics, pneumatics, diagnosing and calibration. Owns and maintains personal tool inventory Must have a valid drivers license and ability to maintain clean driving record. Mechanical/technical aptitude, safe work habits, a good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions. Strong current electronic diagnosing capabilities, works with minimal supervision, customer service oriented, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, able to adapt to the people and environment around them - customers, suppliers, co-workers and manufacturer's employees Communicates professionally, respectfully and honestly at all times and communication is to be clear and language is to be profanity free while employee demeanor is to be calm and composed
