The Service Technician II will perform advanced diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned lawn & garden and turf equipment. They will also be able to perform basic diagnostics on agricultural and construction equipment. The Service Technician II is categorized as such because he/she has advanced knowledge of repairs on John Deere or similar equipment. Their purpose is to continue learning the business and gain the knowledge and experience necessary to further their career. What to Expect in the

Role:

Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, lawn & garden turf and construction equipment. Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.

What We Will Be Needing From You:

Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products. Ability to properly diagnose and repair 2-cycle and gas engine products including Briggs and Stratton, Kawasaki , Honda, Echo, and Stihl. Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion. Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. Accounts for all reported time in Service Delivery and for all material used in performing assigned duties. Support management in the pursuit of corporate policies, plans, goals, and long-term objectives. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance.
